Calling all foodies and lovers of wine! THE 18TH ANNUAL BOCA BACCHANAL, which benefits the heritage education programs of the Boca Raton Historical Society & Museum, is just around the corner. The Grand Tasting will be held on Saturday night, March 7, 2020, in the Great Hall at the Boca Raton Resort & Club. There will be dinner-by-the-bite from 25 noteworthy local restaurants; tasting selections from over 130 Champagnes and wines from all
over the world; a silent auction via the BidPal app; a jewelry popup shop from Yvel; a pop-up shop from Crown Wine & Spirits; a craft beer station and a full bar; luxury items from select vendors; and a pop-up art gallery with Thomas Arvid, the nation’s pre-eminent painter of wine. Arvid, who generously donated a piece of artwork to the silent auction—named “A Perfect Crush,” which is valued at $16,500—will be painting a piece of artwork during the Grand Tasting. The Bloomingdale’s Red Carpet Cosmetic Touch-Up Station will provide guests with complimentary makeup applications throughout the evening. There will also be a range of products for sale.
Guests will enjoy sampling delectable bites from many wonderful restaurants, including Benihana, the Boca Raton Resort & Club, Bolay, Burtons Grill & Bar, City Fish Market, Chops Lobster Bar, J&D Cakes, Just Salad, Loch Bar, M.E.A.T. Eatery & Taproom, Morton’s The Steakhouse, Pat’s Wine Bar & Grill, Potions in Motion, Raw Juice, Rebel House, Rex Baron, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, The Capital Grille, and The Melting Pot.
Participating wineries include A to Z Wineworks, Bocelli Family Vineyards, Bodegas Callia, Castello di Verrazzano, Chateau de Berne Estate, Francis Tannahill, Invivo Wines, JP Chenet France, Moillard, Rex Hill, Santa Margherita, and Taittinger.
